About us

Founded in 1950 by Franz and Virgilio de Blasi, Alexandra Produzioni Cinematografiche experienced the golden age of Italian cinema, collaborating with renowned international directors and actors such as Federico Fellini, Marcello Mastroianni, Claude Chabrol, Alberto Sordi, and Charles Bronson.

He produced over 40 feature films between the 1950s and 1960s, leaving behind a historically significant catalog that includes iconic titles such as The Legions of Cleopatra and The Revolt of the Gladiators.

In the last five years, he has relaunched his cinematic activity with films and international co-productions. Among these are Ricomincio da 80 and Butterflies in Berlin, awarded at dozens of festivals and distributed in both the USA and Italy. He has also produced Mamma Qui Comando Io and The Boss’s Chef, which won five awards and was Brazil’s Oscar submission.
